Teaching the next generation

Round 2 with Michael and Mark. Day started off early with us launching at 5:00 am in the dark, Michael keen to get back on the water and chase some fish! As the sun came up, Michael was well on his way into some bait fish. We loaded up and headed for some deeper waters. Where there were some good showings in the mid water so I put down live bait to see if we would have any inquiries... it was not long before the reel screamed to life! Mark was up for a bit of fun and after a good fight he landed a really nice sized Hammer Head, with some assistance from my gilly we had a quick hook removal and photo and managed to successfully release her to fight another day. Michael carried on with his fine form catching a variety of species again from Zebras to Saddle-back Goat Fish, Cave Bass, Cape Stumpies and a nice sized Tomato Rock Cod even a small Pike. He has already planned his next trip as he is wanting to now target Snoek! I look forward to having you on board again Michael - we will work on your bucket list...lol!
It is always a pleasure having you and your dad on board and is a privilege to see your enthusiasm and to teach the next generation of fishermen!

Look forward to your next trip.

Warner Beach offers some excellent Reef Fishing from Prospection to just before the Aliwal Shoal.

Durban Ski-Boat Club offers safe and secure parking with club facilities. The launch is sheltered and safe for all ages.  Offering a variety of fishing options from Game to Reef Fishing, from the Bluff to Udloti the options are vast!  During the Winter months, we offer Night Fishing Trips - targeting Geelbek and Daga Salmon.

About Us

Our Charters are for those anglers who are seeking an Exclusive Fishing Adventure with Personal Attention on a well-appointed boat, fitted with top class equipment and tackle, complete with guiding from a professional specialized angler.

It is not customary for us to share our bookings which means that you, the angler get to do exactly what you want, along with personal assistance and guiding.

We specialize in taking out 1 to 4 guests, but are licensed for a maximum of 6 guests.

We have a good catch rate and although we mostly do get fish on our bookings, and often some nice big ones, there is unfortunately no guarantee of fish…However, our best efforts are assured at all times – Otherwise we could call it “catching” and not “fishing”!

We operate mainly from Warner Beach Ski-Boat Club (Amanzimtoti) and Durban Ski-Boat Club (next to Ushaka) and although these are our main launch sites, we are able to accommodate other areas on special request.
