Fly Fishing for Wild River Brown Trout on the Bushmans River

Our Trout fishing is offered only for Wild River Brown Trout on the Bushmans River is the Kwa-Zulu Natal Drakensburg.

Mike has fished this river extensively for many years and knows its way well.

The river is only opened for fishing from September to May each Year with March to May being the prime Season.

The Bushmans River holds large Brown Trout which are naturally spawned, sometimes we have found Yellow Fish when the waters are high and in the higher sections of this river there are also Rainbow Trout.

We can offer day trips where we leave Durban early in the morning and usually make our way back at around noon, multi day trips and accommodation can also be arranged.

All our trout fishing is strictly Catch, Photo, Release (CPR) specifically because these are Wild Trout.
